I will start off with the good meaning they offer good quality of produce, nutritional supplements etc, However my shopping experience being a woman of color is the cause for the low rating review. I will say each time of shopping here has been very uncomfortable, unpleasant, being stared at instead of a simple “ How can I help you “ just being stared at from the cashier’s check out in general is very rude, unpleasant, uncomfortable experience. The older woman in the supplement part of the store she is very unpleasant, standoffish.

Campbell's is one of a kind! Wonderful staff, great options, fair prices, and a friendly, calm atmosphere.

This has become my new favorite grocery store. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the vegan options here are fantastic. I stop in multiple times per week to raid their grab and go cooler which always has a great variety of salads and sandwiches for very reasonable prices. I’ve lived in Des Moines for years and for some reason only discovered how great of a place this is very recently.

They have the best coffee(fair trade) around. Good bulk items and sometimes great sale prices. I'd probably rate higher but I've been shopping here for over 20 years and its still uncomfortable almost every time! The older woman with dark hair is always, and in all 20 plus years, has been at least curt if not rude. I'm white and in my 40s, so I can only imagine how others may perceive the treatment. Reading other reviews I've gathered the owner is in denial about how she/other empyees are at least perceived. 530 10/14, the redhead was not polite either. No smile, no positively, no nothing. A little kindness and positivety, a smile could go a long way.

Love shopping at both Campbell's Nutrition stores! It is like being part of family. Great products and all comparably priced! Able to buy most of our grocery supplies at Campbell's!
